FULAFIA Week Concludes with General Congress; Reaffirms Commitment to University Development

The Federal University of Lafia Alumni Association (FULAA) has concluded its 2026 FULAA Week celebration with a general congress that brought together alumni from various graduating sets to review the association’s activities and discuss its future direction.

The congress, held recently at the University’s Permanent Site Campus, Lafia, served as the grand finale of the week-long programme. 

It provided members with an opportunity to assess the association’s achievements, reflect on the successes recorded during the celebration and explore strategies for strengthening alumni participation and support for the institution.

Speaking at the event, the Alumni President, Comrade Arigwaska Musa, reaffirmed the association’s commitment to promoting its ideals and contributing meaningfully to the development of the Federal University of Lafia. 

He stressed the importance of sustained alumni engagement in advancing the University’s academic and infrastructural development.

Activities held during the 2026 FULAA Week included a staff capacity-building programme, pre-alumni lecture and the donation of medical supplies to the University clinic.

Participants described the celebration as successful and expressed their optimism that its outcomes would strengthen alumni unity and enhance contributions to the University community.
