FUNAAB Announces 33rd Convocation; Access Holdings Chairman Aig-Imoukhuede to Deliver Keynote

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has released the official programme of events for its 33rd Convocation Ceremony, scheduled to run from Friday, January 23, to Saturday, January 31, 2026.

The week-long celebration, announced by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olusola Babatunde Kehinde, culminates in the formal award of first and higher degrees, postgraduate diplomas, and prizes to graduating students.

The lecture will be delivered by Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, CFR, Chairman of Access Holdings Plc, a globally respected investor and philanthropist. Mr. Aig-Imoukhuede, known for his transformative leadership at Access Bank Plc, will draw from his extensive experience in the private and non-profit sectors to stimulate dialogue on agriculture-driven education and youth empowerment.

The event aims to reinforce FUNAAB’s mission as Africa’s leading agricultural university committed to producing globally competitive graduates and driving socio-economic transformation in Nigeria.
