FUNAAB DVC Academic, Prof. Idowu to Deliver 114th Inaugural Lecture

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has announced that the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Olusegun Mark Obafemi Idowu, will deliver the institution’s 114th Inaugural Lecture on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

The lecture will take place at the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building and is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m., with guests expected to be seated by 1:30 p.m.

Prof. Idowu, a member of the Governing Council of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and a renowned scholar in Monogastric Animal Nutrition from the Department of Animal Nutrition, College of Animal Science and Livestock Production (COLANIM), will deliver a lecture titled: “Feed to Food: Biological Machines in the Hands of a Monogastric Nutritionist.”

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, will serve as Chief Host of the event, which is expected to draw members of the university community, researchers, industry stakeholders, policymakers, and members of the public.

Participants who are unable to attend physically will have the option of joining virtually via the university’s online platforms.
