FUNAAB to Hold 105th Inaugural Lecture on Cooperative Financing

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) will on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, host its 105th Inaugural Lecture at the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building. The event is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m., with guests expected to be seated by 1:30 p.m.

The lecture, titled “Financing the Cooperatives: Repayment Culture for Sustainable Agricultural Development,” will be delivered by Prof. Dorcas Adetokunbo Adegbite, an authority in Agricultural Finance and Policy Issues from the Department of Agricultural Economics and Farm Management, College of Agricultural Management and Rural Development (COLAMRUD).

Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, will serve as Chief Host and Chairman of the occasion.

The university community, agricultural stakeholders, and members of the public are invited to attend, as the lecture will explore key issues in cooperative financing and sustainable agricultural development.
