FUNAAB VC Charges Newly Employed IFSERAR Research Fellows on Ethics, Impactful Research
On December 22, 2025, Professor Babatunde Kehinde, Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), formally charged the newly appointed Research Fellows of the Institute of Food Security, Environmental Resources and Agricultural Research (IFSERAR) to uphold the highest standards of professional ethics and discipline.
Former Director of AMREC, Prof. Victor Olowe, provided an overview of the Institute's operational framework, which includes eight specialized research programs:
Aquaculture and Fisheries
Agricultural Mechanization and Energy
Biosciences
Crop Production
Environmental Resources and Conservation
Food and Nutrition
Livestock Production
Socio-Economics
The charge concluded with a reminder for the new Fellows to serve as ambassadors of FUNAAB, ensuring their conduct and professional engagements further the institution's reputation as a leader in agricultural innovation.
