FUNAAB Welcomes NUC Accreditation Team, Reaffirms Commitment to Academic Excellence
FUNAAB hosted the National Universities Commission (NUC) Accreditation Team on November 25, 2024, for the evaluation of five academic programmes: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Management and Toxicology, and Veterinary Medicine.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Babatunde Kehinde described the exercise as a critical peer review, emphasizing FUNAAB’s dedication to excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement. He expressed confidence in securing positive outcomes for the 18 programmes currently under review.
Senior officials, including Deputy Vice-Chancellors and the University Librarian, joined the Vice-Chancellor in welcoming the team, who were tasked with assessing and providing recommendations to enhance the university's academic standards.
The visit underscores FUNAAB’s ongoing commitment to producing world-class graduates and advancing impactful research for national and global development.
