FUNAAB's Directorate of University Farms Honours Staff for Outstanding Service

The Directorate of University Farms (DUFARMS) at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) today, September 11, 2024, celebrated the dedicated service of Mr. Ebunoluwa Atinuke and Mr. Shehu Babangida. At a special event, Acting Director of DUFARMS, Dr. Emmanuel Bankole, praised the duo for their exemplary work ethic, resource management, and teamwork, urging other staff members to follow their example.

Mr. Atinuke, on sabbatical from the Federal College of Education (FCE) Osiele, Abeokuta, and Mr. Babangida, who transferred to Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, were recognized for their long-standing contributions. Mr. Babangida, who began his career as a Farm Attendant at FUNAAB in 1998, was represented at the event by Mr. Garba Sokoto.

The event's highlight was the presentation of DUFARMS produce and other gifts to the honourees, with speakers, including DUFARMS Welfare Committee Chairman, Engr. Dejo Ogunbiyi, wishing them success in their future endeavors.
