FUOYE Announces Resumption Date for 2025/2026 Academic Session
The Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), Ekiti State, has approved the academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session, marking Monday, 6th October 2025, as the official date of resumption for both fresh and returning students.

In a release signed by the Registrar, Mr. Mufutau Ibrahim, and conveyed through the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Foluso Ogunmodede, the University announced that the new academic session will commence with the arrival of students into the halls of residence. Mr. Ibrahim emphasized that all students are expected to take note of the resumption date and comply accordingly.
Reiterating FUOYE’s dedication to structured learning, the Registrar noted that the University remains committed to providing a flexible and dynamic academic year designed to promote intellectual growth, innovation, and holistic student development.

Meanwhile, preparations for hostel accommodation for the 2025/2026 session have been finalized. According to the Students Affairs Officer, Mr. J.O. Adeyemo, hostel allocations will be available for confirmation on the student portal from Wednesday, 24th September 2025. He outlined the following procedures for students who secured hostel spaces:
- Confirm hostel allocation status on the student portal.
- Make payment for hostel allocation via the portal.
- Present proof of payment at the Students Affairs Division.
- Obtain the Hostel Dues account number and pay the prescribed amount.
- Submit photocopies of both the hostel allocation fee receipt and hostel dues receipt to collect the Hostel Code of Conduct (HCC) Booklet, which contains the undertaking form, room, and bed space number.
- Make two photocopies of the HCC page containing the room number.
- Submit one copy to the Hostel Accommodation Officer and present the other copy to the Hostel Supervisor for check-in.
Mr. Adeyemo further confirmed that university hostels will officially open to receive students on Monday, 6th October 2025.
