Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) Pro-Chancellor, Prof. Nora Ladi Daduut, has reaffirmed her commitment to advancing educational quality in Nigeria. This pledge was made during a recent thanksgiving mass held at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kwalla, Plateau State.

Prof. Daduut, who previously represented Plateau South Senatorial District in the 9th National Assembly, emphasized the pivotal role of education in national development. "Education remains the bedrock of any nation's growth and progress," she stated, highlighting her dedication to fostering educational opportunities for youths and children.

During her address, Daduut outlined plans to collaborate with local church communities to prioritize child education, underscoring that investing in the girl-child's education is crucial for societal advancement. "Educating the girl-child empowers her to become a catalyst for positive change," she added.

She also called on the private sector and individuals to support the Bola Tinubu administration's initiatives aimed at revolutionizing Nigeria's education sector. Prof. Daduut praised the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her efforts in ensuring access to quality education for every Nigerian child.

Daduut urged all parents to ensure their children complete both primary and secondary education, emphasizing that "Government is doing its best, but additional support is necessary for a better society."
