The Federal University of Technology, Babura (FUTB) has reminded all students to complete the mandatory signing of their examination cards ahead of the upcoming exams.

The deadline for submission is Friday, 20th March 2026, as stated in an internal memo from the Academic Affairs Division.

Students are required to follow a three-step verification process

  1. Academic Verification: Students must first report to their Level Coordinator, who will confirm registered courses, total units, and that all carry-over courses are properly accounted for. Upon completion, the coordinator will sign and stamp the examination card with a departmental stamp.

  2. Financial Clearance: All students, including NELFUND beneficiaries, must visit the Bursary for financial verification. Proof of payment covering at least 60% of the current session’s fees is required before the Bursary can sign the card.

  3. Final Approval: The University Examination Officer will append the final signature after confirming that both academic and financial clearances have been completed.

FUTB has warned that no alterations are allowed on examination cards. Any lost cards will incur a replacement fee of ₦500.

Students are advised to complete this process well before the deadline to avoid any complications during examinations.
