FUTD Declares Semester Break, Announces Resumption Date

The Federal University of Transportation, Daura (FUTD), has announced the commencement of its semester break for staff and students in line with the approved academic calendar.

According to a special bulletin issued by the University Management, the institution will observe the break from Monday, December 22, 2025, to Sunday, January 4, 2026, to enable members of the university community to mark the festive season.

The bulletin stated that staff assigned to essential services are exempted from the break and are required to continue their duties throughout the period.

Management confirmed that normal academic and administrative activities will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026.

The announcement was signed by the Registrar, Umar Faruk Bayu, and published in the FUTD Special Bulletin, Volume 2, Number 24.
