FUTMINNA Set to Matriculate 2025/2026 Fresh Students

The Management of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has officially scheduled the matriculation ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In a circular issued by the Deputy Registrar (Academics), Mrs. Omolola Alhassan, the university confirmed that the ceremony, which formally inducts new students into the institution, will take place on Monday, February 16, 2026.

The event is slated to be a high-profile academic gathering, with strict adherence to the university's traditional protocols:

Venue: University Convocation Square (Suleiman Kumo), Gidan Kwano Campus.

Seating Time: All matriculating students and invited guests must be seated by 9:30 AM.

Entry Restriction: The management has warned that access to the venue will be strictly denied once the Academic Procession commences at 9:50 AM.

The matriculation ceremony is a mandatory requirement for all newly admitted students to finalize their status as bona fide members of the FUTMINNA academic community. Students are expected to have completed their registration and documentation at their respective departments prior to the ceremony.

Following the event, matriculants will be required to sign the Matriculation Register and take the Matriculation Oath, pledging their allegiance to the university's rules and regulations.
