The Students' Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has issued an official statement regarding the ongoing campus-wide power outage.

According to the statement, signed by Comr. Musa Ibrahim Muhammad, Public Relations Officer, and Comr. Moshood Abdulwarris Olamide, Secretary General, the power outage resulted from severe damage to the university's main transformer, which is currently undergoing repairs in Abuja.
