FUTMINNA Students' Union Enhances Off-Campus Security for Holiday Break

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has taken proactive measures to ensure students' safety during the upcoming holiday break.

In a meeting with the ADC Vigilante Division, Talba Road, the SUG addressed concerns about off-campus security and equipped vigilantes with essential tools to prevent lodge burglaries, which tend to increase during breaks.

Key Security Measures:

- Provision of torchlights to vigilantes

- Upcoming supply of additional necessities

- Enhanced patrols in student-populated areas on both campuses

- Collaboration with vigilante officers to ensure student safety

- Avoid moving late at night

- Be aware of reduced campus activity during breaks
