Gombe State University Unveils Entrepreneurship and Development Centre Products

Gombe State University's Centre for Entrepreneurship Development Studies has officially unveiled its products for public sales, marking a significant milestone in the university's efforts to promote entrepreneurship and skill development.
The unveiling event, attended by top university officials, including Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Sani Ahmed Yauta, showcased various products produced by the Centre, including footwear, leatherwork, and renewable energy solutions .
In his welcome address, Centre Director Dr. Abubakar Sadiq Usman highlighted the Centre's primary objective of integrating practical skills into academic learning. The Centre currently offers training in 23 different skills, including salon services, cosmetology, tailoring, and knitting.
Professor Danladi Umar, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), emphasized the importance of collaboration among departments, noting that the university has a wealth of resource personnel who can contribute to the Centre's continued success.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Yauta, reaffirmed the university's commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and pledged continued support for the Centre. He announced plans to provide additional machines and equipment to enhance the Centre's productivity and urged the Centre to make efficient use of these resources.
The successful unveiling event reinforces Gombe State University's mission to empower students and contribute meaningfully to society. The Centre's products are now open for market patronage, marking an exciting new chapter in the university's entrepreneurship initiatives.
