Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has re-appointed Engr. Dr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed as the Rector of Kwara State Polytechnic, extending his leadership for a second term. This re-appointment is a testament to Dr. Muhammed's exceptional contributions and steadfast dedication to raising educational standards at the institution.

Dr. Muhammed’s extensive academic background and leadership experience positioned him as the ideal candidate for the role. He holds two doctorate degrees, including one in Metallurgical and Material Science from Witwatersrand University in South Africa. Prior to his initial appointment as Rector in 2019, he served as the Deputy Rector (Academics) at the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State.
