Gov. Bago Lauds IBBUL Medical College’s Admission into African Medical Schools Consortium
The Niger State Governor, His Excellency, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has appreciated the academic performance of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University College of Health Sciences.
The Farmer Governor who is the Visitor to the Institution made this known when the Vice Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Hadi Sulaiman presented him with a certificate of admission of the College into the consortium of African Medical Schools at the Government House, Minna.
He advised the Management to maintain the tempo and assured that the State Government was doing everything humanly possible to see to the commencement of clinical training within the University, stressing that the relocation of the 300level students to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria should not be seen as a setback to medical training in the Institution.
Earlier, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Hadi Sulaiman
said the announcement for the admission of the University's College of Health Sciences into the consortium came at the end of the Conference of Provosts of Colleges of Medicine of Africa held in Adis Ababa, Ethiopia.

He appreciated the Governor and Visitor for the support and understanding towards the University.
Professor Sulaiman maintained that the full support and understanding of the Visitor made everything easier for the Institution and the College of Health Sciences thereby creating the collaboration with Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
The Vice Chancellor also thanked other stakeholders for their continued prayers and support towards the success of the University.
