Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia has partnered with Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi, to provide free breast cancer screenings. The initiative, part of Governor Alia’s broader crusade against cancer, will run from September 9 to 30, 2024, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.

Women aged 40 and above are encouraged to visit the hospital for this free service aimed at raising awareness about breast cancer and ensuring early diagnosis.
