Governor Buni Presents Relief Materials to Victims of FUGA Female Hostel Fire Incident

The Yobe state Governor, His Excellency, Mai Mala Buni, has today, Friday through the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), presented relief materials to victims of the recent fire incident at the female hostel of Federal University Gashua (FUGA).

Presenting the items to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Maimuna Waziri, the SEMA, Bade Focal person, Abubakar Danjuma Yabaze, said the materials include blankets, mosquito nets, mattresses, wrappers (wax prints), detergent, soaps, and sanitary pads.

Receiving the items, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Maimuna Waziri, thanked the Yobe State Governor, His Excellency, Mai Mala Buni, for his timely intervention. She described the governor as someone who is always passionate and ready to support his people in all situations.

While extending her appreciations to the Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency, (SEMA), Dr Mohammed Goje, for the agency's swift response, the VC assured that the materials would greatly aid the affected students.
