Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU) has reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating with the Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (MDCAN) to enhance the standards of its College of Health Sciences.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Hadi Sulaiman, emphasized the importance of partnership in advancing medical training and healthcare delivery.

The Provost of the College of Health Sciences, Professor Abubakar Aliyu, expressed optimism about the strengthened relationship with MDCAN. He emphasized the importance of homegrown doctors and the need for experienced consultants to contribute to the University's development.

The Chairman of MDCAN, Minna Chapter, Dr. Mustapha Yahya Makanta, commended IBBU for establishing a medical school, calling it a transformative initiative for healthcare delivery and medical education in Niger State. MDCAN pledged to support IBBU through curriculum development, clinical mentorship, joint research, and infrastructure development to meet national accreditation standards.
