Indonesian Ambassador Visits KHAIRUN to Foster Collaboration and Academic Excellence

Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University Kano (KHAIRUN) recently welcomed the Indonesian Ambassador to Nigeria, Amb. Dr. H. Usra Harahap, and his delegation.

The visit, facilitated by Alh. Hassan Tahir Yaro, President of the Kano Council of Traders and Entrepreneurs (KASCOTE), aimed to strengthen ties between KHAIRUN and the Indonesian embassy.

The ambassador emphasized the significance of collaborations in advancing education, economic development, and socio-cultural exchange. He assured that KHAIRUN would be prioritized for opportunities such as postgraduate scholarships.

KHAIRUN's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, advocated for a reciprocal relationship, encouraging Indonesian students to study science courses at KHAIRUN. He also expressed optimism about opportunities for KHAIRUN staff to visit Indonesia for further academic pursuits and skill development.
