Kaduna Polytechnic has issued an important update for National Diploma (ND) candidates who have received JAMB admission but were unable to secure regular admission due to high departmental demand. Currently, 90% of regular ND slots are filled, leaving some students without placement.
To avoid delaying their academic progression, the Polytechnic is offering evening admission as an alternative. Students have the option to accept or decline this offer:

- Accepting: You will be enrolled as an evening student.
- Declining: You will need to reapply through JAMB next year.
Key Differences Between Regular and Evening Programs:
- Lecture Time: Regular classes start at 8:00 a.m., while evening classes start at 1:30 p.m.
- School Fees: Evening students pay slightly higher fees than regular students.
- Academic Calendar: Timelines differ for regular and evening programs.
Similarities:
- Both regular and evening students complete the same courses, practicals, and assessments.
- Results are identical; there is no distinction on transcripts.
- Both are eligible for NYSC upon graduation.
Important Note:
- Once admitted into the evening program, you cannot switch to regular, but it is possible to convert regular admission to evening if necessary.
- Evening admission is offered due to oversubscription of regular ND slots, ensuring students continue their studies without delay.
Students are encouraged to carefully consider this option to avoid losing another academic year.
