The management of Kano State Polytechnic (KSP) and Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUST) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to commence Postgraduate Diploma Programmes in Science, Engineering, and Technology on a part-time basis.

The signing ceremony took place on Monday, July 29, 2024, at KSP, with the Vice Chancellor of ADUST, Prof. Musa Tukur Yakasai, and the Rector of KSP, Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouk, in attendance.
The collaboration aims to establish academic linkage and promote scientific and technological advancement between the two institutions. The programmes offered include Postgraduate Diplomas in Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Microbiology, Mechanical Engineering, Biochemistry, Architectural Technology, and Statistics.
Prof. Yakasai expressed delight at the commitment and enthusiasm displayed by KSP management, stating that the collaboration will provide opportunities for students to pursue higher education and ultimately reach the level of MSc. and PhD programs.

Dr. Farouk lauded the management of ADUST for their prompt acceptance of the offer to collaborate, noting that the partnership aligns with the state government's aspiration to improve technical and vocational education in the state.
The programmes are expected to commence soon, with KSP maintaining standards in running the programme.
