Cross River State students currently enrolled in tertiary institutions are encouraged to take advantage of the Federal Government’s ongoing Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) initiative

Senator Stephen Odey, Commissioner for Education in Cross River State, has issued an urgent call for students to apply for the loan program, designed to provide financial support for their educational needs. "I have been informed by NELFUND authorities and University of Cross River (UNICROSS) that student data from UNICROSS has been successfully uploaded. Consequently, all UNICROSS students, as well as those from other state-owned institutions, should apply for the loan without delay," Senator Odey stated.
