The Interfaith Students Association of Kaduna State University (KASU) paid a courtesy visit to Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa on Thursday, 8 January 2026, to present its peace-building and interfaith understanding initiative.

The delegation, led by Association President Nafiu Muhammad Dahiru, was received by the Vice-Chancellor alongside Registrar Barrister Samira Balarabe, Bursar Hauwa Mohammed Dalhatu, and officials from the Corporate Services Department. Other members of the team included Fatima Yusuf, Ahmed Ibrahim Saminaka, Delvan Ezekiel, and Kyon Deborah.

During the visit, the association outlined its programme aimed at promoting unity, dialogue, and peaceful coexistence among students of different faiths, with Kaduna State University as the launching point for broader engagement.

Professor Musa praised the initiative, describing it as timely and commendable. He encouraged the students to carry out their activities responsibly and assured them of the university’s support. Registrar Barrister Samira Balarabe further urged the association to sustain its efforts in fostering interfaith understanding and to build on the progress already achieved.
