KHAIRUN Hosts End-of-Month Prayers; IIQS Director Highlights Spiritual Virtues of Ramadan

The Management of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University,Kano under the able leadership of the Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdulrashid Garba, through the International Institute of Qur’anic Science (IIQS), successfully held its end of month prayers, bringing together staff, students, and members of the University community in a moment of spiritual reflection and supplication.

During the session, the Director of the Institute Malam Abdulrashid Babuga, highlighted the significance of the sacred month of Ramadan, emphasizing the importance of salartul Tarawih as a means of strengthening faith, seeking Allah’s mercy and fostering discipline and devotion among believers . He further enlightened participants on the value of ittikaf, describing it as a period of deep spiritual retreat dedicated to worship, reflection and closeness to Allah, especially in the last ten days of Ramadan.

The Director also spoke extensively on the virtues of Lailatul Qadr ( the Night of Decree), encouraging faithful to intensify acts of worship’s, prayers and supplications during this blessed night, which holds immense rewards and divine blessings greater than a thousand month.

The session was closed by the recitation of suratul Mulk by Malan yahaya.
