Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University Hosts IIQS Monthly Lecture and Qur’anic Writing Competition

The event formed part of KHAIRUN’s broader initiative to deepen Qur’anic scholarship, moral excellence, and community engagement. Participants showcased their proficiency in Qur’anic calligraphy, memorization, and understanding, while the lecture series provided a platform for intellectual and spiritual discourse.
Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Abdulrashid Garba, commended the institute for its consistency and dedication to promoting KHAIRUN’s vision of harmonizing Qur’anic values with modern academic learning. He emphasized that the programme aligns with the university’s three compulsory core activities — Qur’anic Recitation and Memorization, Moral Lessons, and Entrepreneurship — aimed at producing knowledgeable, morally upright, and self-reliant graduates.

Speaking on behalf of the organizers, the Acting Director of Corporate Affairs and Marketing, Bilal Dahiru Tijjani, praised the collaborative effort of staff, students, and facilitators, noting that the event reinforces KHAIRUN’s identity as a center for faith-based scholarship and innovation.
The event concluded with words of appreciation to all participants and stakeholders for their contributions toward sustaining a culture of learning, creativity, and moral discipline within the university community.
