As part of activities marking its 5th Convocation Ceremony, KolaDaisi University, Ibadan, has announced plans to hold its Convocation Lecture themed “Building Sustainable Universities for National Development in a Challenging Economy.”

The lecture will be delivered by Professor Labode Popoola, former Vice-Chancellor of Osun State University, on Wednesday, 5th November 2025, at 2:00 p.m., in the Sherifat Agbeke Auditorium, KolaDaisi University, Ibadan.

According to the University’s Public Relations Unit, the event is expected to bring together scholars, students, alumni, policymakers, and members of the public to engage in a thought-provoking discourse on how Nigerian universities can remain sustainable and contribute effectively to national development amid economic constraints.
