Kwara State University KWASU Clears Backlog of MLS Graduands' Regularisation, NYSC Mobilisation, Medical Laboratory Science graduands of Kwara State University with issues of regularisation and mobilisation for NYSC has commended the Management of the institution for successfully clearing all the issues preventing their progress.

The last set of Medical Laboratory Science graduands of Kwara State University with issues of regularisation and mobilisation for NYSC has commended the Management of the institution for successfully clearing all the issues preventing their progress.

In an electronic message sent to the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, the graduants said "we specially appreciate you for your tenacity and courage amid negativity when dealing with the ordeals of the MLS students. 

"Thank you sir for going out of your way even when words were thrown at you".

It would be recalled that on Wednesday March 29, 2023, when the concerned graduands protested their unresolved status, the management of the University reiterated that the institution was on top of the situation and considered it a duty to ensure that no graduand was unable to serve.

The elated graduands in their message prayed for the Management while apologising for their actions.

"Please forgive our excesses during this time too. We understand that all hands are on deck to get us all mobilized as soon as possible", the message added.

Meanwhile, three thousand seven hundred and thirty three outstanding cases of regularisation of admission with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board JAMB has also been resolved. 

In a reaction by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh Luqman Jimoh, he said the University was determined to facilitate the progression of all its students.

He added that the few cases that are pending had errors in the data the affected students uploaded, stating that all of them would be cleared soon.

Professor Jimoh also disclosed that graduands of Law of the University have now been captured by the National Youth Service Scheme.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor commended the Commissioner of the Kwara State Ministry of Tertiary Education, Dr. Afees Abolore Alabi for the support the University got in resolving the cases, describing it as evidence of the State Government's commitment to providing excellent education to its populace.

Professor Jimoh described the synergy between KWASU and the Tertiary Education Ministry as highly efficient which has greatly influenced the achievements of the institution.
