LASU Congratulates Adewunmi Olori on Appointment as Pioneer Registrar of Greenland University
The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Distinguished Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, and the University Registrar, Mr Emmanuel A. Fanu, MANUPA, FCAI, have congratulated Mr Adewunmi Samuel Olori on his appointment as the Pioneer Registrar of Greenland University, the first private university in Taraba State.
The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Distinguished Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, and the University Registrar, Mr Emmanuel A. Fanu, MANUPA, FCAI, have congratulated Mr Adewunmi Samuel Olori on his appointment as the Pioneer Registrar of Greenland University, the first private university in Taraba State.
Until his appointment, Mr Olori served as Deputy Registrar and Administrative Secretary of the Masters of Public Administration (MPA) Programme Office at Lagos State University.
Since joining LASU in 2009 as an Administrative Officer II, he steadily rose through the ranks, serving in several strategic Registry divisions and units, including:
- Vice-Chancellor's Office
- Academic Staff Establishments Division
- Non-Academic Staff Establishments Division
- Postgraduate School
- Legal Affairs Division
- School of Transport and Logistics
- Masters of Public Administration (MPA) Programme Office
- Registrar's Office
- Centre for Financial Forensic Investigation and Analytics

The university also noted that Mr Olori distinguished himself through his service on more than 25 university committees, where he served in various capacities as a member and secretary.
According to the Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar, his appointment reflects the quality of administrators produced by Lagos State University and underscores the institution's continued contribution to the growth of higher education in Nigeria.
On behalf of the university community, the duo congratulated Mr Olori on the milestone and wished him a successful and rewarding tenure as he lays a solid administrative foundation for the growth and development of Greenland University.
LASU further noted that Mr Olori joins the growing list of its administrative staff who have recently been appointed to leadership positions across tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
