LASU Student Emerges First Runner-Up in Prestigious Don Etiebet Award

A final-year student of Lagos State University (LASU), Mr. Malik Olalekan Olabiyi, has been recognized as the First Runner-Up in the esteemed Don Etiebet Award for the Best Computer Science Project in Lagos State for 2025.

Olabiyi's innovative project, "Development of an AI-Driven Shared Delivery App for an Efficient and Cost-Effective Logistics System," showcased his exceptional skills in harnessing Artificial Intelligence to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce delivery costs.

The Don Etiebet Award is a highly competitive annual recognition that honors outstanding undergraduate research projects in Computer Science across Nigerian universities. The award ceremony took place on October 30, 2025, during the Annual IT Summit of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS).
