LASUTH Opens Admission Into Schools of Anaesthetic Technology, Orthopaedic Cast Technology and Paramedics Technology for 2026/2027 Session

The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) Institute of Allied Health Sciences & Management has announced the commencement of admissions into the School of Anaesthetic Technology, School of Orthopaedic Cast Technology, and School of Paramedics Technology for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) Institute of Allied Health Sciences & Management has announced the commencement of admissions into the School of Anaesthetic Technology, School of Orthopaedic Cast Technology, and School of Paramedics Technology for the 2026/2027 academic session.

General Entry Requirements

Applicants must possess five (5) O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, as well as two (2) of the three core science subjects (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) and one other relevant subject, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.

Programme-Specific Requirements

1. School of Anaesthetic Technology (3-Year Part-Time Course)

  • Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age.

2. School of Orthopaedic Cast Technology (2-Year Full-Time Course)

  • Accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
  • Applicants must have a minimum JAMB UTME score of 130.
  • Applicants must not be less than 16 years of age.

3. School of Paramedics Technology (2-Year Full-Time Course)

  • Accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
  • Applicants must have a minimum JAMB UTME score of 150.
  • Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age and must be physically fit and agile.

Method of Application

Interested and qualified candidates are to obtain application forms from the Workforce Planning and Recruitment Unit, MRC Building, LASUTH.

Completed application forms should be submitted alongside:

  • Photocopies of relevant credentials.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Two (2) recent passport photographs on a white background.

The admission screening will include a Computer-Based Test (CBT) to be conducted at LASUTH. Successful candidates will subsequently be invited for an oral interview, during which they will be required to present the original copies of their relevant certificates for verification.
