LAUTECH, British Council’s IAU Programme Set to Deepen Student Entrepreneurship

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, disclosed this when he received representatives of the Innovation for African Universities in his office. He stated that the institution remains fully open to partnerships that drive innovation, noting that LAUTECH’s technology-focused mandate positions it to develop students who can provide practical solutions to Africa’s evolving challenges.

Professor Justice Emuoyibofhare, LAUTECH’s coordinator for the programme, outlined opportunities the collaboration will unlock for the university community. He commended the Vice-Chancellor for steering LAUTECH toward a technology-driven operational model, adding that participating students will gain the capacity to become entrepreneurs within their chosen professions.
IAU’s Nigeria Coordinator, Soji Megbowon, reiterated the council’s commitment to establishing a robust partnership with LAUTECH, emphasizing that the initiative will focus strongly on entrepreneurship development and innovation-driven learning.
