MAAUN delegation attends 32nd Graduation ceremony at Islamic University Uganda
The President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo has led a delegation of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria where they attended the 32nd Graduation Ceremony at Islamic University In Uganda (IUIU) held at the University main Campus in Mbale.
In the delegation were the President of MAAUN, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, Vice Chancellor of Franco British International University (FBIU), Kaduna, Prof. Mohammad Abdullahi Sabo and Director Academic Planning and Quality Assurance, Dr. Nura A. Yaro.

Also in the delegation were Dean Postgraduate School, MAAUN Niger, Prof. Lawal Ibrahim Alhaji, Director, International Association of African Universities, Dr. Aliyu Abubakar and Dean, School of Medicine, MAAUN Niger, Prof. Garba Muhammad Rayyan,
Others were Secretary General, Association of African Private Universities (AAPU), Prof. Haruna Abubakar Sadiq and Director Linkages, MAAUN Niger, Dr. Bala Muhammad Tukur.
The Rector of Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) Prof. Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda, expressed appreciation to Prof. Gwarzo and his entourage for taking the pain to attend the 32nd graduation ceremony of the university in far away Uganda.

He expressed the hope that MAAUN Nigeria and Niger which had earlier signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IUIU would continue to collaborate on areas of mutual benefits with a view to promoting Academic programs and Research.
The event was also attended by officials from various universities and outside the academia from Nigeria including Prof. Salisu Shehu, Vice Chancellor of Al’Istiqama University, Sumaila, Kano State and Dr. Ibrahim Adam Omar Dasina, Director General, Sunnah Television, Nigeria, among others.
