Modibbo Adama University Announces Short Break for Campus Renovations

The Management of Modibbo Adama University (MAU) has officially declared a short break for all staff and students, effective Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

According to a circular signed by the Registrar, Mustafa U. Migawa, the break is intended to provide the University with the necessary window to complete various ongoing renovation projects across the campus. The University is scheduled to fully resume academic and administrative activities on Monday, January 5, 2026.

While most departments will be closed, the Registrar noted that staff located in the old and new administrative buildings, as well as those providing essential services, will remain on duty. Heads of Departments and Units are tasked with ensuring that critical services are maintained throughout the holiday period.

The Vice-Chancellor and University Management wish all staff and students a restful break and look forward to a productive resumption in January 2026.
