Modibbo Adama University Yola Hosts 29th Inaugural Lecture on Nonlinearity

Modibbo Adama University Yola recently hosted its 29th Inaugural Lecture, themed "In Search of Nonlinearity for Scientific and Technological Advancements of Physical Phenomena."

The lecture was delivered by Prof. Adam Usman, a distinguished Professor of Nonlinear (Quantum) Optics. Prof. Usman's research focuses on applications of Nonlinear Optics, studying nonlinear electromagnetic phenomena in optical spectra when high-intensity coherent light or laser beams are applied to a medium.

A renowned expert in Nonlinear (Quantum) Optics with a wide understanding of physical phenomena and potential technological breakthroughs.Applications of Nonlinear Optics in various technical areas, including classification of physics and nuclear magnetics resources.

The lecture drew academics, researchers, students, and science enthusiasts from various faculties and departments. Prof. Ibrahim Umar, the Vice Chancellor, led a procession of Principal Officers and distinguished Professors to the institution's Multipurpose Hall. In his opening remarks, Prof. Umar thanked attendees and highlighted Prof. Adam Usman's well-grounded research work in Nonlinear (Quantum) Optics.

The successful delivery of the inaugural lecture further solidified Modibbo Adama University Yola's reputation as a hub for innovative scientific work. The event concluded with a plaque presentation to Prof. Adam Usman by Prof. Ibrahim Umar and a special reception attended by professors, principal officers, and well-wishers.
