Modibbo Adama University Yola Signs Memorandum of Understanding with University of Ngaoundere

Modibbo Adama University Yola (MAU Yola) has taken a significant step towards international collaboration with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Ngaoundere in the Republic of Cameroon.

The MoU was signed under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Ibrahim Umar, who has demonstrated a strong commitment to fostering global partnerships.

The MoU signing is a culmination of Prof. Umar's proactive approach to exploring potential collaborations, which began shortly after he took office. The reciprocal visit by the Rector of the University of Ngaoundere, Prof. Mahmoudou Abdoulmoumini, further solidified the partnership.

MAU Yola has developed a curriculum for English language training tailored to academic research, ensuring its students are well-equipped for academic success. The visit also highlighted the importance of cultural collaboration between Yola and Ngaoundere, as evidenced by the delegation's visit to the palace of the Lamido of Adamawa.

This milestone achievement marks a significant step towards establishing MAU Yola as a globally recognized institution.
