NAHCO Chairman Donates Multi-Million Naira Library Building to Joseph Ayo Babalola University

Dr. Seinde Fadeni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) Plc, has generously donated a multi-million naira library block to Joseph Ayo Babalola University in Ikeji–Arakeji, Osun State.

Dr. Seinde Fadeni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) Plc, has generously donated a state-of-the-art library block worth millions of naira to Joseph Ayo Babalola University in Ikeji–Arakeji, Osun State. The three-storey structure, the largest on campus, was handed over to the university last weekend and is set to cater to the library needs of all departments, from undergraduate to doctorate levels.

In a statement by Mr. Tayo Ajakaye, Assistant General Manager of Corporate Communications at NAHCO, Dr. Fadeni emphasized his commitment to providing a conducive and modern learning environment for students. He expressed concern over the distractions posed by social media and stressed the importance of assisting students who are dedicated to their studies.

During the handover ceremony, Dr. Fadeni assured Pastor Samuel Oladele, President of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Nigeria & Overseas, that his support for the university would extend beyond the donation of the library building. He pledged to equip the library with essential resources such as computers and shelves to facilitate learning.

Prof. Olasebikan Fakolujo, Vice Chancellor of Joseph Ayo Babalola University, lauded Dr. Fadeni's generosity and described the library as a magnificent edifice that stands out on campus. He highlighted the critical role of modern library facilities in supporting educational development and strengthening the country's university system.

The event was attended by prominent figures from the Christ Apostolic Church, including the Pro-Chancellor, Prof. Joash Amupitan, alongside Dr. Fadeni's family members and representatives from NAHCO Plc.

Dr. Fadeni's philanthropic gesture underscores his dedication to education and societal progress, making a significant contribution to the university's academic excellence and the nation's development.
