NAISS-UDUS Welcomes Newly Admitted Students

The National Association of Islamic Studies Students, Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) Chapter, recently paid a visit to the newly admitted students for the 2024/2025 academic session. The event took place on April 7, 2024, during a general course themed "Early History of Islamic from Jahiliyyah to the Death of the Prophet."
The president of the association, Mallam Aliyu Aliyu, and the secretary general, Tajudeen Umar, led the executives to the venue, where they introduced themselves to the newly admitted students. The spokesman of the association, Hamzah Muhammad, a final-year Islamic studies student, welcomed the fresh students to Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto and congratulated them on their admission.
Muhammad also informed the students about the do's and don'ts of the Department of Islamic Studies, emphasizing the importance of focusing on their primary assignment, which is their academic pursuits. He encouraged the students to prioritize their studies and make the most of their time at the university.
The students were thrilled to learn that the association is planning to organize a comprehensive orientation program for them soon, where they will be officially welcomed into the association. This program aims to provide the new students with a smooth transition into university life and introduce them to the association's activities and initiatives.
