Over 1,000 students on Wednesday 5th October 2023 were matriculated into the Long Vacation Term program of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi for the 2023/2024 Academic session.

Over 1,000 students on Wednesday 5th October 2023 were matriculated into the Long Vacation Term program of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi for the 2023/2024 Academic session.

Speaking at the matriculation ceremony which took place at the convocation arena of the University, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academics, Professor Abdullahi Moddibo congratulated the newly admitted students for gaining admission into Nasarawa State University, a University that is renowned for its excellence and quality services, is a significant achievement.

He informed the students that they should consider themselves lucky to be among the 1,000 admitted out of 5,000  who applied for admission into the school, noting that currently the University boasts of over 135 professors across nine faculties and has both national and international linkages with highly esteemed institutions.

The Vice-Chancellor assured them that the University possesses the capacity, competence, and vast experience to provide an enriching academic journey throughout their stay on campus. He advised them to shun all forms of exam misconduct and social vices as the management is dedicated to providing top-notch ICT and other relevant academic experiences.

The highlight of the ceremony was the administration of the matriculation oath by Barrister Ramatu Liman, who stood in for the Registrar, Mallam Bala I. Ahmed II.

Present at the event were the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Professor Orame Alaku, the  Director of the Institute of Education, Professor Ngozi Nwosu, amongst other senior members of the Faculty of Education.
