Nasarawa State University Partners with Ministry of Information to Enhance Information Dissemination

The Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has secured a partnership with the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism to bolster information dissemination and advocacy of government policies.

This development was announced during a congratulatory visit by a delegation from the university to the newly appointed Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Ibrahim Tanko, on March 19, 2025 .

Dr. Tanko, who previously served as a staff member of NSUK's Faculty of Education, expressed his gratitude for the visit and emphasized the ministry's commitment to effective information dissemination. He highlighted the strategic importance of the university as a partner in progress, ensuring that the policies of the Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule administration are well understood by the populace .

The Vice-Chancellor of NSUK, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, Professor Abdullahi Sallau Modibbo, expressed optimism about the partnership. They noted that Dr. Tanko's leadership would promote sustainable development, enhance the quality of life for Nasarawa State citizens, and provide visionary leadership through sound governmental advocacies .

 

This partnership is expected to facilitate the dissemination of information and promote government policies, ultimately contributing to the development of Nasarawa State.
