The Deputy National President for External and Diaspora Affairs of the National Association of University Students (NAUS), Comr. Mi Mohd Buji, has expressed heartfelt condolences to the management of Federal University Dutse following a fire outbreak at the male students’ hostel. The incident led to the loss of students' properties.
In a statement, Buji sympathized with the affected students and the university community, urging authorities to investigate the cause of the fire and implement measures to prevent future occurrences. He also commended the university for its efforts in ensuring a conducive learning environment and emphasized the need for safety and security within the institution.
Buji confirmed that no lives were lost and called on students to remain law-abiding and to safeguard the university’s properties.
