New Transformer Boosts Power Supply to Aliko Dangote University at TCN Wudil Substation
The improved capacity will support not only ADUSTECH but also areas such as the Nigerian Police Academy, Gaya, Ajingi, Albasu, Garko, Sumaila, Warawa, Dawakin Kudu, and parts of Takai Local Government Area.

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has installed a 60MVA power transformer and accessories at its Wudil 132/33kV Transmission Substation .
This upgrade will increase the substation's capacity by 48MVA, significantly enhancing power supply to the Aliko Dangote University of Science & Technology (ADUSTECH) and surrounding areas.

The improved capacity will support not only ADUSTECH but also areas such as the Nigerian Police Academy, Gaya, Ajingi, Albasu, Garko, Sumaila, Warawa, Dawakin Kudu, and parts of Takai Local Government Area.
The project is part of TCN's Service Level Agreement (SLA) efforts to expand grid capability and improve electricity supply.
