Nigeria Maritime University (NMU) has announced the approved fees for all faculties for the 2025/2026 academic session, detailing charges by level and faculty.

For the Faculty of Engineering, students are required to pay ₦192,000 for 100 Level, ₦137,000 for 200 and 300 Level, ₦142,000 for 400 Level, and ₦167,000 for 500 Level. Similarly, the Faculty of Environmental Management, covering Marine Geology and related departments, will follow the same fee structure per level.

The Faculty of Transport fees are set at ₦192,000 for 100 Level, ₦137,000 for 200 Level, ₦142,000 for 300 and 400 Level, and ₦167,000 for 500 Level.

Additional instructions for students include:

  • Uniforms and life vests are provided by the Consultancy Unit.
  • Faculty and departmental dues are payable via the University Remita account.
  • A medical service fee of ₦5,000 covers the student insurance scheme.
  • Hostel accommodation: ₦80,000 for New Hostels (Remita account), ₦60,000 for Old Hostels (Remita account).
  • SMS fee: ₦3,000 via the University Remita account.
  • Students’ welfare insurance: ₦5,000 via Remita.
  • Sports dues: ₦10,000 via Remita.
  • Fresh students (100 Level) are required to pay an acceptance fee of ₦70,000 into the University Remita account.

Students are advised to adhere strictly to the payment instructions to avoid delays in registration and access to academic services.
