In a remarkable act of compassion, Revd Dr Uche Ume, Senior Pastor of Powerworld Ministries International, came to the aid of a struggling final-year student from Ebonyi State University (EBSU).

The incident took place during the Aflame Family Eagles Convention at Assemblies of God Divinity School in Umuahia on Friday August 9, 2024.

Rev. Ume, guided by a word of knowledge, identified Miss Angela Onu, who was contemplating despair due to an inability to pay her school fees. The student had faced additional hardships as some individuals offering assistance demanded inappropriate favors in return.

Responding to her distress, Rev. Ume immediately provided N150,000 to cover her outstanding fees. Further support from attendees at the service raised her total aid to N320,000. This act of generosity has been hailed as a powerful demonstration of faith and community support.
