Nnamdi Azikiwe University Appoints Samuel Nnaemeka Ufoh as Acting Registrar
Nnamdi Azikiwe University appoints Samuel Nnaemeka Ufoh as Acting Registrar following the conclusion of Barr. Philomena Iwara Okoye's tenure.
Nnamdi Azikiwe University has announced the appointment of Mr. Samuel Nnaemeka Ufoh as its Acting Registrar, effective from April 8, 2024. The decision was made by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Charles Okechukwu Esimone, FAS, FPSN.
In a formal letter addressed to Mr. Ufoh, the Vice-Chancellor expressed his confidence in Ufoh's abilities to discharge the responsibilities of the Registrar's office effectively.

Prior to this elevation, Mr. Ufoh had been serving as the Deputy Registrar in the Personnel Unit and had represented the Congregation at the 9th Governing Council of the University.
Mr. Ufoh's appointment comes after the tenure of Barr. Philomena Iwara Okoye concluded on April 7, 2024. He will serve as Acting Registrar until a substantive appointment is made, subject to any unforeseen exigencies.

A professional member of the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) and a member of the Institute of Public Administration (MIPA), Mr. Ufoh brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. He is an alumnus of the University of Nigeria and also serves as an ordained clergy of the Foursquare Gospel Church, Awka.
