North-Eastern University Gombe Hosts Successful "Chemistry Futures" Conference

North-Eastern University, Gombe, in collaboration with the Pan Africa Chemistry Network (PACN) of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), hosted a one-day conference themed "Chemistry Futures: Inspiring the Next Generation" on April 8, 2025. The event brought together students, researchers, faculty, and industry professionals to promote interest in chemistry and sustainable innovations for national development.

The conference featured keynote lectures, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and a networking breakfast for chemists. The program highlighted the significance of chemistry in everyday life and its role in solving real-world challenges.
