Northwest University Kano Announces Eid-ul-Adha Public Holiday

The Federal Government has declared Friday, June 6, and Monday, June 9, 2025, as public holidays to mark the Eid-ul-Adha celebration.
The Vice Chancellor of Northwest University Kano, Professor Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa, has wished the Muslim community a successful Sallah celebration.
Professor Kurawa encouraged the university community to reflect on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and promote peace, kindness, and unity. While most staff will observe the public holiday, those on essential services are exempted and will report for duty as usual.
