Northwest University Kano Announces Final Extension for Add and Drop Exercise

The Management of Northwest University Kano (NWUK) has approved a final one-week extension for the Add and Drop form application process for the current academic session.

In an official statement released by the Head of the Public Relations Unit, Abubakar Ibrahim, the university confirmed that the portal reopened on Friday, January 9, 2026, and will officially close on Friday, January 16, 2026.

Affected students are urged to complete their course adjustments within this final window. The university emphasized that this serves as the definitive extension, and no further requests for time will be entertained following the January 16 deadline.

Online Payment: The process must be initiated via the University Portal through the designated online payment gateway.

Finalization: Upon successful payment, students are required to proceed to the Directorate of Examinations, Admissions and Records (DEAR) to finalize their documentation.

University officials have advised students to treat the matter with the utmost urgency to ensure their course registrations are accurately updated for the 2026 academic period.
