Northwest University Kano Honours Staff Appointed to Key Government Positions

Northwest University Kano recently held a grand ceremony to honour its staff members who were appointed to significant positions by the Kano State Government. The event was attended by university staff, family members, well-wishers, and distinguished guests.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa, congratulated the appointees and reminded them of the weight their offices carry. He encouraged them to serve with vision, integrity, and dedication, and to prioritize the university and the larger educational sector in their decisions and policies.

The appointees include 17 staff members who were appointed to various positions, including commissioners, special advisers, executive secretaries, and directors. The Vice-Chancellor expressed appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, for recognizing and appointing members of the university community into strategic roles.
